Suwon FC has ended its relationship with Lars.

Suwon FC recently held a squad management committee and announced that it will hold a second squad management committee and terminate the contract of Lars Veltvik, who was caught driving under the influence of alcohol, effective September 30.

Suwon FC held the first emergency squad meeting in early August in connection with Lars’ drunk driving arrest, which resulted in an immediate suspension from training and matches, and the announcement of another squad meeting after the outcome of the KFA’s penalty committee.

On August 10, the KFA held its 10th Punishment Committee, which handed down a 15-match suspension and a fine of 4 million won 레고토토.

Suwon FC conducted an in-depth legal review of the player’s contract with the KFA and its legal counsel, and on September 20, the club held its second squad management committee and voted to terminate Lars’ contract.

Rath was investigated for driving under the influence in August. His blood alcohol level was reportedly over 0.08%, which is equivalent to a license revocation.

“We made the decision based on the principle that socially reprehensible behavior is unacceptable to anyone and must be dealt with firmly,” Suwon FC said.

As a wake-up call to all members of the team, the club plans to conduct periodic team trainings in the future.
