Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) key midfielder Marco Verratti is set to follow former teammate Neymar (Al-Hilal) to the Saudi Arabian league.

French outlet L’Equipe reported on Tuesday (Nov. 20) that Al Ahli and Verratti have agreed to a transfer.

Verratti is a key midfielder and “living legend” who has played more than 400 games for PSG in 11 years since joining from Italian side Pescara in 2012. During the preseason, I picked up Lee Kang-in, who joined PSG from Mallorca this year. He was always hanging around and fooling around.

He’s also equipped with a ‘wall-clearing’ skill that earned him praise from the Jeonbuk players in last month’s match in Busan. Jeonbuk players said that Neymar was able to play freely in the front because of Verratti.

However, he was labeled as a player who would leave the team after Luis Enrique’s arrival this season. He participated in preseason, but missed most of the friendlies and missed the first two Ligue 1 games of the season. It’s clear he’s not in Enrique’s plans.

As the transfer window closes and questions about Berati’s future continue to arise, Saudi giants Al Ahli have reportedly approached the player with a big-money offer and reached a personal agreement.

There are variables. According to L’Equipe, Al Ahly and PSG have yet to reach an agreement over the transfer fee. PSG had previously rejected a £26 million bid for Alhilal. They reportedly want more than £50 million for Verratti.

In the meantime, Manchester United and Bayern Munich have made late approaches and are said to be seriously monitoring the situation, especially with United in need of midfield reinforcements after their 0-2 loss to Tottenham in the second leg of the Premier League. 온라인바카라

‘Kim Min-jae’s team’ Munich have also been linked with a move for Verratti. Munich coach Thomas Tuchel is also looking for a midfield partner to pair with Josua Kimmich.
